Thanks Sean. I think there is a leap between people who are in the videos and that the people in the video committed crimes. Partying on the street and blocking the street is perhaps illegal but then so are organic protests that do the same. And then readers make value judgements about what is unfamiliar. Anything you can do to avoid readers jumping to conclusions based on their biases will only improve the journalism in Oakland Report.
