It is very encouraging and inspiring that Oaklanders now have more honest media for news and data that are critical for repairing Oakland so it can function and thrive.
Id like to thank, again, Brenda Harbin-Forte and others for suing to end Jim Chanin's conflict of interest when he served on the Selection Panel while earning legal fees as long as the federal oversight is in effect.
This was an OBVIOUS conflict of interest and the fact that Jim Chanin still took a seat on the panel, nonchalantly, deserves greater scrutiny of his (lack of) ethics.
