Your policy positions are well-thought-out and nuanced, and you have the grasp both of the granular data and the public-interest outcomes to support those positions. Plus, you're not ashamed or afraid to acknowledge mistakes. In my view, those qualities are more essential to holding executive office than having previously been elected to office.
I think rank choice voting had discouraged some voters from participating.
I know seniors who don’t fully understand how it works and just opt out from the whole process. It also feels like the candidate that gets the union endorsement is a shoe in to win. It’s not inspiring
If there is a way to develop up and coming talent, it’s hidden from me. It seems like once you’re established, you’re set. I keep seeing the same names over and over again in local politics.
I think I’m smart, and I don’t understand how ranked choice voting works. It maybe more a bunch of things that are good for the community, but if you can’t explain how it works, then it fails.
